This is my first and (so far) only Christmas song. I love Christmas and there's a lot of pressure when writing a song about something so huge and important to so many people. I think sometimes Christmas can be seen as kind of a paradox, the holy celebration of the birth of the Christ combined with the most consumer-centric holiday in our culture. I think it's possible to honor the tradition of Christmas and still enjoy giving and receiving gifts.

I tried to give a little bit of time to all the aspects of Christmas that I love in this song, the changing of the weather, the decorations, family and friends, presents, and remembering what the holiday is really about, the greatest gift of all :)

I hope you enjoy my simple song, thanks for listening!
