about

One of the first songs I ever wrote, and the first love song I wrote for the woman who'd later become my wife. I told her I loved her in a song because I was too scared to tell her face to face.

lyrics

Sittin' still and quiet on the beach
Or runnin' drunk and barefoot down the street
There's nowhere else I'd rather be
And no one else I'd rather were here with me

And I don't mind if you know that you drive me wild
When you kiss my cheek
And I'm not scared to tell you that I feel complete
When you're here with me

And I'm sorry that I'm not who I should be
I'm sorry for always saying sorry
I'm sorry 'cuz I probably shouldn't tell you
But I'm really starting to believe I love you

I love you

And I need you
